Jacob has a travel tip about the Indy airport:

The Indy airport is kind of cool regarding electrical outlets. Anyone that’s traveled with a laptop in recent years has wondered aloud at the abject stupidity behind the dearth of outlets in airport terminals. Dallas goes so far as to have their maintenance people disconnect the few that do exist. Indy, on the other hand, puts signs on the pillars pointing to the outlets that read, “This outlet works.

While I arrived at a Hilton Garden hotel (lower-end version of Hilton, like what Courtyard is for Marriott) and they offered free high-speed Internet access. I haven't been to a hotel in years that offered free Internet access. The reason for this is that most hotel offered Internet access is done through a third-party.  Most hotels are franchises meaning that each hotel can offer whatever third-party Internet access they want.
